ADHD UK Celebrity Ambassador

Sam Thompson

Broadcaster, I'm A Celebrity winner and children's author

Sam Thompson is one of Britain's best-loved television and radio personalities — and one of the ADHD community's most joyful, generous and influential champions. As an ADHD UK Celebrity Ambassador, he is working to change how ADHD is seen, spoken about and celebrated.

Sam first found fame on Made in Chelsea before winning the nation's heart — and the crown — on ITV's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2023, where the public fell in love with the boundless warmth, energy and positivity that have become his trademark. Today millions know him as a presenter on Hits Radio, host of the Staying Relevant podcast, and as one of the most engaging voices in British entertainment.

Diagnosed with ADHD at 30, Sam shared his journey with extraordinary openness in his E4 documentary "Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD?" — from the schoolboy who cried into a textbook because the words wouldn't go in, to the broadcaster who talks honestly about the challenges ADHD can bring, determined to help everyone who shares them be their best. That honesty has reached people and helped them feel seen.

In 2026 Sam became a published author with "You, Me & ADHD: A Positive Guide to Understanding Your Brilliant Brain" (Puffin) — his first children's book, aimed at helping young people, and their parents and carers, manage and embrace their ADHD.

We are enormously proud to have Sam as an ADHD UK Celebrity Ambassador.
