Nikki Baglee
ADHD UK Ambassador
Hello I'm Nikki and in 2022 I found out I have ADHD - at the age of 48. This was difficult to process but it has ultimately been the one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
I had the usual misdiagnoses - anxiety, depression, PMDD, PND etc but now I know what the core issue was all along and that is incredibly empowering.
My diagnosis has driven me to set up a therapy business offering women space to process and offload, supported by energy healing and balancing.
In August last year I set up virtual body doubling sessions available to thousands of colleagues at my 9-5 job (and dropped down to 3 days a week!).
I then set up twice monthly face to face ADHD Women's Tribe meetings in the Carlisle area (with plans to extend this to other parts of Cumbria) and ADHD Girl’s Tribe meetings are coming soon.
My passion is helping women who have or suspect they have ADHD to thrive and love life. I focus on women and girls because our struggles are unique and sometimes uncomfortable to share openly. I want women to fully accept themselves and what's gone before, and to look forward to the future by knowing what does and doesn't work - enabling advocacy for themselves and their families.
I could go on as this is my absolute passion, but I'll finish here by saying that ADHD is a huge blessing in my life now… I wouldn't change a thing, and accepting myself has brought me more opportunities than I thought possible. Becoming an ADHDuk ambassador is one I'm very proud of .
