Holly Devine
ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, I’m Holly - founder of Atlas, a company I started to make health more accessible and personalised for everyone.
I’m becoming an ADHD UK Ambassador because, like so many others, I was an atypical child with ADHD who went unseen and unheard for a long time. I did well academically, so no one looked any deeper. But inside, I was overwhelmed, anxious, and constantly trying to hold everything together. It wasn’t until my early twenties that I was privately diagnosed, and with that came a huge sense of relief, clarity, and self-compassion, but also a deep grief for the childhood I lost to being misunderstood and undiagnosed.
That experience was a turning point for me. I want to be part of the conversation that helps others feel seen sooner, understood more fully, and supported in ways that truly reflect the diversity and strengths of having ADHD - especially in women and girls, who so often fall through the cracks. Through my work and advocacy, I hope to contribute to the growing research around ADHD and co-occurring conditions like PMDD, and help bridge the gap between lived experience and clinical understanding.
If sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone or take the first step toward answers, then it’s more than worth it.
