Danielle Vaughan
ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, I'm Danielle, and I was diagnosed with ADHD at 23. After years of feeling like I was failing at “normal,” my ADHD diagnosis changed everything.
Getting diagnosed made me realise I wasn’t doing life wrong, I was just doing it differently. It gave me the language to express my needs, the context to understand my patterns, and the freedom to stop blaming myself. It allowed me to completely reframe how I understood my behaviour, how I spoke to myself, and how I navigated work, relationships, and everyday life.
Now, I'm passionate about understanding the ADHD mind and advocating for others on a similar journey. I'm especially interested in holistic support, which led me to study both Level 2 and Level 3 Personal Training, along with a qualification in nutrition.
I'm proud to be part of ADHD UK's ambassador programme, supporting the right to access care, whether that’s through traditional medication, holistic tools, mental health support, or all of the above.
No matter how our brains work, we all deserve the support we need. And I’m honoured to be part of a charity that’s fighting to make that a reality.
