ADHD UK Ambassador

Bakshi Sidhu

Conscious Parenting & Life Coach, mum of two.

Hi, I’m Bakshi Sidhu, a Conscious Parenting and Life Coach, former primary school teacher, and founder of Little Ones Life Coach. I’m proud to be an ADHD UK Ambassador.

My background includes a Degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Anthropology of Children and Child Development, and ten years of primary school teaching. I have also founded two private day care centres. Across these settings, one belief has stayed with me: children need adults who are curious about how they experience the world and willing to adapt the support around them.

My journey through education, motherhood and coaching has deepened my commitment to supporting neurodivergent children and their families, particularly those navigating ADHD. I see how much parents can carry—the worry, the uncertainty, the appointments, and the effort of helping others understand their child. Parents deserve a space where they feel heard, supported and able to ask for help without judgement.

Through my coaching, I help parents look beyond behaviour to understand the needs, emotions and difficulties underneath. I have a particular interest in nervous system regulation, emotional regulation and strengthening the parent–child connection. This includes supporting parents to recognise their own overwhelm, understand the patterns they bring from their upbringing, and develop more compassionate ways of responding to themselves and their children.

For me, supporting a child also means supporting the adults around them. I help parents build confidence in advocating for their children at school, communicating their needs and working collaboratively with teachers. Through parent workshops in schools, I bring practical strategies into everyday family life. I am also keen to contribute to teacher training, drawing on my classroom experience to help bridge understanding between home and school.

I wanted to become an ADHD UK Ambassador because greater awareness leads to greater understanding and practical support. I want to help challenge stigma, share accessible information and ensure that families’ experiences are heard.

I bring my experience as an educator, coach, nursery founder and mother, alongside a commitment to listening and continuing to learn from people with ADHD. Above all, I want children to grow up feeling understood, with their difficulties taken seriously, their strengths recognised, and the support they need to participate and thrive.
