Alexandra Taverner
ADHD UK Ambassador
Hi, I’m Alexandra - mentor, podcaster, educator, and business cheerleader and now, proudly, an ADHD UK Ambassador.
With nearly 25 years’ experience in the beauty, wellness & aesthetics industry, I’ve supported hundreds of female business owners and professionals to grow their confidence, build thriving businesses, and embrace their creativity, something I am incredibly proud of.
My ADHD diagnosis was the turning point. Suddenly, the “messy magic” of how I think made sense, the fast brain, the endless ideas, the drive to do things differently. But it also made me realise something bigger: so many female business owners are trying to navigate success without the understanding, tools, or support they need.
Now, through building my Beautifully & Aesthetically ADHD community, I’m on a mission to change that. I mentor female founders, freelancers, and business owners, helping them better understand their neurodiverse brains, manage the challenges, and harness their unique strengths, so they can build businesses and lives that actually fit them, instead of trying to squeeze into a system that wasn’t designed for them.
As the first ADHD UK Ambassador representing the beauty, aesthetics, education & wellness sectors, I want to be at the forefront of providing the support I didn’t have. There are many neurodiverse professionals within my industry. However, the awareness and support to meet their needs is comparatively bleak. I’m here to change that, by raising more awareness and creating spaces where professionals feel seen, understood, and empowered to thrive as their authentic selves.
Why? Because it matters: ADHD minds aren’t and never have been, ‘too much.’ They’re powerful. Creative. Game-changing. If I can help even one person feel less alone, less misunderstood, and more confident in their brilliance, then I know I’m already lighting the way for others like me. By using my voice and experience to create the support I wish I’d have had.
