ADHD UK AmbassadorAbigail Fenty

Hi my name is Abigail and I was diagnosed with ADHD over a year ago now. I’ve experienced numerous difficulties growing up which I couldn’t understand or process myself. I always felt like I was different to everyone else and that I didn’t belong anywhere.

Due to being late diagnosed, I felt completely thrown in to the deep end, there was a sense of relief but also a sense of grieving the life I could have had. I started learning more about myself and what affects ADHD has on the brain. This showed me that there is so much stigma behind ADHD and what it entails for women and men, and how different this can show up.

I want to show people it’s ok to be different and to love yourself no matter what.
