Hi, I’m Heidi – a late diagnosed ADHD-er, now ADHD, Life & Workplace Strategy Coach and founder of Neuro-Stitch.

ADHD wasn’t something I ever considered growing up. I simply thought life was harder for me, and that I just wasn’t “built” the way everyone else was. After years of overwhelm, burnout and being misdiagnosed by mental health services and GPs, someone finally came into my life, explained ADHD properly and helped me see that this might be what I’d been searching for all along.

That was the moment everything started to make sense.

Like so many other late diagnosed ADHDers, I had to become my own detective and advocate – investigating, collecting clues, and slowly connecting the dots until I finally had the answer: I have ADHD – and it doesn’t mean I’m broken. It means my brain works differently!
Getting my diagnosis at 29 completely transformed how I approach life. Once I started working with my brain (not against it), everything shifted – my confidence grew, I set boundaries, made different choices, and started actually thriving. That’s why I created Neuro-Stitch – to help others bridge the gap between “I’ve got ADHD” and “How do I live well & manage it?”

I became an ADHD UK Ambassador because I want more honesty, more representation and more support for ADHDers – especially after diagnosis. Too many people are left feeling isolated, confused and overwhelmed at the exact time they need the most guidance. I want to use my voice to help others feel seen, understood and empowered to build a life that works for them – even if that looks completely different to everyone else’s.
You’re just working with a brain that hasn’t always been understood — and once it is, amazing things happen.
